makan time singapore

ticket to indulgence,
this time it was hajah maimunah restaurant in jalan pisang, singapore. it is located in kampung glam, in the vicinity of masjid sultan. this restaurant serves old school cooking, particular minang dishes such as dendeng berlado(my favorite),rendang and masak lemak.

another place was in geylang. i was searching for another nasi padang restaurant but failed. plus the streets were jammed with people going to the stadium for singapore national team world cup qualifying.

last in line- AGV and children's helmet

i thought it was extinct , but there are still some. i am talking about my AGV helmet which i just bought 3 days ago.
most of us knows how much AGV helmets are worth. but back in the 90's there was a venture with a local manufacturer to manufacture these helmets and export them back to europe. i know that it was quite popular back in the late 90's and i bought one in 1997. still keeping and wearing it, but as time passed by, wear and tear can't be avoided. searched and located the last ones that was being manufactured locally. the old helmet are featured as well for comparison. the old model is 'Cassano' and the new one is 'Tour'.

the children's helmet was very hard to find nowadays. most of the shops either stocked toy helmet without SIRIM certification. found one for the children. my daughter posing with one on top of my bike.
